Genome structural variations can have a profound and dramatic effect on the expression of genes, both mapping within the rearrangement or elsewhere in the genome.
The workshop “Genome Structure and Expression” will provide an opportunity for an in depth discussion on the impact of genome structure in gene expression.
The cross-disciplinary topic will allow for the amalgamation of different research groups and research approaches, integrating participants from varied research areas, including human genetics, neurogenetics, oncogenetics, epigenetics, evolutionary and computational biology.
